Google Friend Connect
What is that thing on the top of the sidebar? Well its a new app that Google recently released called Google Friend Connect. Its a great tool to use to stay in contact with the readers of your site. Find the content pleasing? Wanna stay in contact with the author and the other readers? Click “Join This Site” and you can add yourself to the members list. Members can do a number of things including chat with each other, add links to their own blogs and more. Tie in all your social network sites like Myspace and Facebook.
