These last few weeks have been huge in the tech world… A lot of announcements have made about new releases recently like Onlive! A cool new network based gaming console. Also recently Apple released info on the new iPhone to be released later this year. Also, Nintendo just released their new DSi handheld.
Microsoft started running a new ad campaign giving consumers $1500 to make a choice between laptops, and of course the commercials show each consumer looking at Apples first and due the high price, the consumer always chooses a PC! Ha Ha! Well I won’t get into that argument. The world was just attacked by the wonderful Conficker/Conflicker Worm. Did it get you? Wanna know how to protect yourself? How was your week? Any new tech toys?
UStream.tv has become huge success over the last few years. Large in part to Chris Pirillo’s live webstream. This peaked my interest. I am not the type to do any type of live recording unless I have a guitar in my hands. But I was curious to know what everyone else thought. Do you enjoy UStream.tv? Have you used it? What is that thing on the top of the sidebar? Well its a new app that Google recently released called Google Friend Connect. Its a great tool to use to stay in contact with the readers of your site. Find the content pleasing? Wanna stay in contact with the author and the other readers? Click “Join This Site” and you can add yourself to the members list. Members can do a number of things including chat with each other, add links to their own blogs and more. Tie in all your social network sites like Myspace and Facebook.
